Deconstructed Elegance

“We were so excited to be asked by the lovely and talented Regina Garay to contribute to Fauxology, one of our favorite blogs! Our answer was an immediate and resounding “Yes!” What to actually focus on was another matter. The world of decorative wall finishes is an exciting, multi-faceted place. In the end, we decided to write about a project where we got to do what we love: collaborate.” read more…

About Fauxology

Fauxology is a fantastic resource for wall and interior design inspiration. Begun by Regina Garay of Garay Artisans in 2007 to chronicle  the love affair between Interior Design and painting, pattern, and finishes, it’s a must read. We can’t thank Regina enough for featuring us! We are honored to be included in her romance!

  1. Such a pleasure to have you guest post for Fauxology — and I thank you for the lovely words. (Design and Finishes — it *is* a wonderful romance, no?) Your work is sublime and you have a fan (and friend!) for life. 🙂

    • No, Thank you Regina! It was such a rush to do a post for one of our favorite blogs and bloogers. Thanks so much for the encouragement and compliments. Coming from a talented artisan like yourself, it means a lot!

  2. Great inaugural post! Your lime walls are fantastic and so creatively edgy. So fun to see something different in the faux world. I mean decorative painting world. I mean plaster world. Whatever we call it- I look forward to seeing more!

  3. I am seriously, over the moon delirious of the textures, wall finishes ( top top top design work), highly professional…FANTASTIC.
I adored the wall with the fireplace. I think it was a fireplace. If not, I can imagine the design. So inspirational…would love to try to create such a fireplace some time.
The wall finishes are top drawer awesome. Thank you for posting !!!

    • Lynne- Thank you so much for the lovely compliments! This is one of our favorite projects. It’s so rewarding when we get to stretch our creative legs, and the designer, Nicole Fuller, is such a joy to work with. Her vision is always fresh and insightful. Thanks again- You really made our day!
